Re: (saleensolution)
Here's a couple of my old ones I had laying around. I know they aren't Honda's. . .but they didn't make any good Honda models back in the day.
Here's a '66 Nova that I spent about $80 and 2 months to finish. It won a few awwards. (That's right, I actually entered model contests back then!! hahaha) Custom carpet, actual billet aluminum valve covers, and a ton of bare metal foil. . .
Here's an old Ford. I think it's from the 50's? I don't remember.
And a quick shot of an unfinished Roadrunner. (Dodge right?)
I actually bought a couple honda models a couple years ago to try to rehabilitate my old model building habit. But I tried to go all out on my first project. Cut the hood out of an EG hatch model, in order to stuff a b-series in there. Aside from trying to make an operable hood, I also had to splice a couple chassis's together to make it all work right. Needless to say, that project was never finished. Mabe I'll dig it up an give it another shot.

Thanks! Yeah, little details like wiring go a long way. I used to put subs/amps in the back of my models, and had them all wired up too. hehe

Thanks! All three of those models I used an airbrush, and some wet sanding. It's a lot of work, but well worth it if you want your model to look good when you are done.
I guess I can try to dig up the Honda's I started working on. This summer my roomate is going to move out, and his room is going to become my hobby room. Hopefully I'll be able to really get back in to model building then.

Re: (TeH Champ)
K. . I found the EG that I started working on a while back. It's the Hasegawa kit. The motor and some of the chassis were taken from the Revell Integra Type R kit.
And here's a shot of the bottom. You can see where the 2 chassis' had to be spliced.
I'm dreading starting on this one again. . .it's gonna be a ton of work. lol

Re: (nihkon)
i just finished a custom lip for my EK, pic is kinda shitty but let me know what you think, the civic is the revell tuner series and the lip is from the JACCS racing accord. i "spliced" the two together
EDIT: full mock up with custom spoon duckbill and the advan RG's

Well I used to build models alot and reading this thread inspired me to start up again so I went out to my favorite hobby store. The guy let me dig through the back room and I found this 4 lug ITR model that I thought was kinda neat
Neways here are a 2 pics I woll post progress in a couple days
SHould I keep the ITR wheels white or paint them?
