Hahah. Yeah, I changed my mind really quick once I saw the bare metal. I told Steve-O "expletive that!". I think I'm going to send them to Wheel Technologies after I get my car running.

I went to O'Reilly's to get new flange nuts for the back but they only had 16. I'll have to order the rest. Dood was shocked when I told him I wanted 160 of them. LOL.

I wish Mr. Jenkins was here.

SYNSEI, looking good. Next time, instead of punishing your hands polishing the bolts, put them in a media tumbler. Its a lot easier and blingy-er.

finally finish polishing all 4 lips. here is a mock up. i am still debating about the centers.

when i did mine i made a paste out of bakingsoda and water and put that + my bolts in to plastic bags and shook the hell out of them for about 2 hours, came out mint!

sounds like a good idea about the home made tumbler. So just use baking soda and water. Is there anything else u can use???

yea i am using a one gallon plastic bottle. not sure of what i'll be using for cleaner but as of now they are just sitting in some mr gunk engine degreaser.

I just made a deal with my freind that i will weld up and shave his mk2 vr6-t engine bay if he polishes my lips.. I'd rather be welding then sitting in my basement sanding.

Looking good doggie! You might want to follow up with a finer grit sanding though. There were a couple scratches still visible. Keep it up!

Ya i know but u can really only see them with the camera. u cant even see them when ur looking at them. Plus i just dont want to sand anymore man does it suck..but I still got 2 more wheels to go
