TCS & Brake Light

TCS & Brake Light
2003 Accord, the TCS light & brake light are staying on.
I have all the manuals for the Accord and I have checked most all the connections pertaining to the TCS system. From what I have been reading, most have replaced the brake light switch which I am planning on doing, it is on order. I checked the TCS switch on the dash, per the manual and find that the continuity between pins 1 and 2 to is ok, they show continuity when the button is pressed. Per the manual, pins 3 & 4 should have continuity all the time. 3 & 4 are the switch light pins, they do not show continuity as they should, per the manual. Would the TCS and brake light being on be caused by this?
After looking further, the bulb in the switch is bad. (pins 3 & 4)
Spent bulb cause the TCS and brake lights to be on all the time?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: TCS & Brake Light
I'm not sure why you're throwing parts at it first instead of actually checking the ABS/TCS trouble codes.
We can't help you fix the problem until you check the codes.
Also, did you clear the codes after making repairs? ABS and TCS codes must be cleared manually; they won't clear themselves.
