OBD sensors not resetting
OBD sensors not resetting
I have a 2005 Accord EX (4 cylinder) with a little over 6K miles (yes just 6K)on it. I had to disconnect the battery to charge it so I could drive to a smog station. Naturally I failed the smog test “This vehicle failed the MIL/CHECK engine light due to failure to successfully complete all OBD tests” I drove the car through 5 or 6 drive cycles and can’t reset all the sensors. I even installed a new battery and started the drive cycles again (some 200+ miles).
I am using a ElmScan 5 scanner and OBDwiz software. The OBDwiz Monitors/Monitor tests gives me the following incompletes:
EVAP Monitor Available Not Complete
Secondary Air System Monitor Not Available Not Complete
Air Conditioning Monitor Not Available Not Complete
Heated Catalyst Monitor Not Available Not Complete
There are no P codes
Is there some specific driving cycle I can do to reset these monitors?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
