I am a new user to this site and really need some help. I am attempting to change out my A/C compressor on a 2003 Honda Accord Lx - 4 cyl. About all I know is I need to get the pressure off the system first. Any help with instructions on how to proceed from that point is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Tim Mcpherson

after you depressurize the system, you basically (1) remove the belt, (2) pull the two lines, and remove the bolts (I think it's 4 of them) that hold it to the block.

Reassembly is the reverse. I usually change the seals before putting the lines back on, and then charge the system.

Thanks for your help. I may get started on it tomorrow, wanted to wait and see what this tropical storm is going to do first. One site I visited said it would take about 7 hours to change out the compressor, but the instructions you have sent me sound fairly simple. Again, Thanks
