Engine not accelerating smoothly to nearly no acceleration at all
Hello I have a 2004 honda accord v6 lx and it is running very strange. The acceleration when my foot is on the throttle at a constant pressure sputters, especially from a stop. Occasionally all my check engine lights come on and i have nearly no acceleration at all and can barely get the car moving. To get the car to accelerate i have to shut the car of and restart it. The car has been like this for a while, almost a year now. I never fixed it because in the winter and the cold weather it does not happen, now that the warm weather is coming around it is doing it again. I remember my code scanner said brought up that it could be the tps sensor, or the ap sensor but i forget the code. What does this sound like to you guys, are there any quick fixes, and what should i do first. Thank you and let me know if you need more info.

Could be an app sensor or throttle body, without knowing your code it's strictly a guess..they both can cause this issue. App sensor is more common on Acura TL but I've replaced a few on the accords. Maybe your t body just needs to be cleaned though..try that first

Mine has the same issue , i cleaned up my throttle body completly but didnt work for me (could work for u ) , had it checked , got issues with the IAT sensor , TP sensor and the power relay ( based on the scaner codes) , i still heavnt fixed it coz the car electrician is asking too much to fix it , so iam just waiting on my next paycheck to get over with it........
the scanner clearly said high voltge on IAT and low Voltage on TP sensor , what i think is that there could be a open wire ,short wire something to do with the wires ,or power relay . . . but here iam just too bound to pay more coz no one here knows honda well other than honda dealers.... and normal technician is asking around 1000 saudi riyals i wonder how much honda would ask for.... just the oil change costs 700 if i go to honda....
