2004 Accord EX Losing Oil Somewhere
I have a 2004 Accord EX that I bought used a couple years ago. I check the oil somewhat regularly and it consistantly loses oil somehow. I never see any puddles or drip stains so I don't think its a leak. I also never notice/smell any smoke as if I'm burning oil. So where is it going?
BTW, I probably add about a 1/2 quart to 1 quart every 3-4 months or so.

Sounds like your oil rings on the pistons are going bad...

Re: 2004 Accord EX Losing Oil Somewhere
If you are only adding 1/2 to 1 quart of oil every 3-4 months, there really isn't a big concern here. Well, that's assuming that you are driving it a normal amount. How many miles would you estimate that you are driving in the time frame? Also keep in mind, honda considers up to a quart burned per 1k miles "normal".
If you are burning less than a quart every few months, with normal amounts of driving (~5k miles) i wouldn't waste time/money on a rebuild.
