Default 2006 Accord EX driver side heater problems.

The heat on the driver side of my accord barely has any heat to it. The passenger side is very hot. The coolant has been flushed and filled properly. The thermostat has been changed and still hasnt made a difference. Any help would be great. Thanks

Sounds like there might be an issue with the air mix motor. Can I guess this is a v6?

This is a 4 cylinder motor. When I turn down both heat controls and turn them back up then the heat gets really hot on the drivers side. Is this still the air mixer that causes that?

Sounds like it.....I forgot the 06 EX had dual controls, was thinking only the v6 had dual.....my bad.

Like to crawl around under the dash to check a few things?

So you are saying that it does get hot but then goes away? If you have very little heat or say a big temp change from the drivers side to the passenger side it is typically a heater core getting plugged up which involves removing the dash.

I found that the heat will stay hot at 83. If I turn it to high then its just semi warm. If the heater core was plugging up I wouldn't be getting heat on either side.

i don't think it's fuse loose, since you can still hear the sound for a while, electrical connection failure ?
