2010 Accord Oil Life Indicator
This 2010 Accord is my first Honda. It has an oil life indicator telling you what percentage is left. Does anyone know how this percentage is estimated by the computer? From what does it take its data?
I changed the oil last week and had to manually reset the indicator, which left me to ponder whether it was merely using the odometer data.
Thanks.

It's just a calculator. It only serve as a reminder, so many owners forget about car maintenance. The fact that you are here, you are not one of them.

What's a good change % pt. when using the Honda factory oil? The dealership told me its a mix of regular and synthetic oils.
