VCM Muzzler. This guy on the Pilot form invented it. If you like, I can give you his info/link. Since posting it would be advertising. The quality is OEM, and it's the only one that I would recommend.
I've been using it for 30K miles now on my 2014. You'll looks some MPG mostly on the hwy. But awesome as all 6 cylinders are ready to go on command, as you wish.

My 2008 Honda Accord v6 recently experienced this problem. The check engine light turned on and started flashing. The VSA and triangle also turned on (not flashing). And then the car started driving a bit rough. I pulled the codes and it came up with P0300, P0303, P0306. I called Honda corporate and they said that the issue was resolved by extending the warranty 8 more years. So basically the extended warranty/recall expired March 7, 2016. How can they put a time limit on a manufacturer defect? It's unknown when the problem will occur.
What can I do at this point to get Honda to fix this issue??

LOL. Yes. Thank you captain obvious. But I was asking if there was anything that I can do to get Honda to fix the car and honor the their recall.

Hi all, I got the dreaded P0303 misfire code.
I have read through all the posts, and my head is spinning.
I have an 08 Accord with 125k, am I correct in saying that Honda will not be fixing (for free) my misfire issues?
If that is the case, what would you suggest? A trade in?
I am at a loss. I had a 97 Civic that had over 200k and no problems, then an uninsured woman totaled it. I felt totally confident in my choice of a honda.

BUT.... I took my car to a local mechanic and he said that the problem was the coils. So he replaced coils #3 and #6 and the car has been running perfectly. Before he replaced them, the car starting misfiring and running really, really rough.
So I would suggest replacing the coils first and go from there.

We replaced the plug and coil pack for cylinder 3. It looked bad, like an ashtray. It was the only plug that looked this way. The rest looked new.
Is there even a possibility that Honda will disable the VCM?

It's a guy from Canada who makes a device that tricks your car into thinking it's not up to operating temp and basically VCM will not kick in. I've had it on my car for over 2 years now. I've noticed significantly less oil consumption.
