My friend has an '04ish Accord sedan with an autotragic trans and in reverse (while shes backing up AND turning the wheel), there's an unpleasant grind (like metal on metal). I did a search, but couldn't find much. It doesn't do it in drive, just reverse. I checked the fluid and it looks/smells fine, so I'm stumped, but I think it might be a synchro (I don't know anything about autos), but I'm not 100%. Any info helps. Thanks.

Brake pad sensor maybe?

I was informed that this issue occurs when in drive and turning the wheel. We're going to the stealership to see if they can't look at it.

i was told the other day that there is a recall on the 4 cyl. automatic transmissions you should try looking into that.
