The blinker speed is not affected by the tail lights themselves... unless you a have a bulb that has burned.
Blinker speed will remain the same, lights will most likely be brighter than the OEM tail lights.

I had people saying that their led's were brighter than stock lights and some saying that is looked the same... It is SUPPOSED to be brighter, also.. led's light up quicker than normal bulbs.... which turns to be a good thing in terms of safety... for whoever is coming behind you!

Re: (gianinline)
alright.. in terms of the rate of the blinker flashing.. i want it to stay the normal constant blinking rather than the rapid blinking because the car may think the light is out.. do you know if the speed of the blinker is the same?
for example, when i had led's for my brake lights on my 96 accord, the "brake light" light would come on in the cluster because the bulbs drew less power.

You need a resistor basically, if it is an aftermarket plug and play taillight, it most likely has one built in already so it doesn't cause a problem. Most new taillights do.

Less resistance in your taillight bulbs has nothing to do with your turn signals. Put an LED bulb in the turn signal and then you will have a fast-blinking signal.

it's not a (1) LED bulb, it's multiple LEDs which consist of the taillights as a whole.. and it's not an individual turn signal.. it's the signal and the brake light.

So the turn signals are also LEDs on those lights? My mistake....
