Default Will the CEL/MIL Clear on Its Own After Repair?

Replaced a faulty ECT 2 sensor following P2183 and P2185 DTC. The pending code that was present is now clear and I'm wondering if the CEL will clear on it's own or do I need to clear with my data reader. Some information I've read says it will clear on it own, but some Honda service data I seen hints it should be cleared with a reader so new drive-ability values can be set. I've been out about three trips with the car and CEL is still on. Not sure if some of what I drove constitutes a "trip". I would prefer to see it reset on its own if possible.

Not sure on these 7th gens, but all other Honda's I have owned, if you disconnect the battery for a few seconds/minute or so, the computer will reset itself when you reconnect the battery. Give it a shot, not that hard to do. If it fails, someone else will chime in I'm sure.

it should reset on it's on own i think it takes 10 cycles which a cycle is driving for x amount of miles then letting it cool down completly like over night

I've reset it previously with my OBDII reader, so disconnecting the battery is not needed. Just hoping the cars computer will recognize the repair and give a clean bill of health to reset the CEL.

Light finally cleared today after approximately 75-100 miles and somewhere about 5 trips. This gives me confidence the replacement ECT sensor fixed the problem.

Replacement ECT sensor was an aftermarket part purchased from Amazon...
