Default Wierd problems after recall fix

After i got the interlock pin recall fixed at my local honda dealership the car has not been the same. When i shift into reverse the hazard lights turn on and my reverse lights dont light up. My other problem is when i turn the blinkers on as im applying the brake the blinker blinks louder and faster the harder i push the brake pedal. As i ease off the brake pedal the blinking slows down.

What do you guys think?

weird just take it back and tell them whats going on...the worst thing that can happen is them telling you have a different problem

Well from a Honda Tech perspective, its nothing but bad timing im sorry to say. There is nothing involved in that recall that would cause your reverse lights to malfunction. As for the turn signal problem, im going to guess that your flasher relay is going south, since I dont know what car you drive, I am going to assume that your turn signals and brake lights are the same bulb, so that would cause blinker problems onces your on the brake pedal. As for the pressure thing that doesnt make any sense, the only thing that pressure of the pedal would change is how hard the car stops by sending more pressure to brake system, but once the brake switch is closed, 12v goes to the brake lights and ECM, the voltage is not regulated like a fly-by-wire throttle.

What is your year make and model and I can pull up some resources to help through your problem.

Check fuse #21 in the under-dash fuse box for the reverse lights.

I still say check the flasher relay for turn signal problem

I went back and spoke to the manager and got him to inspect it for free. Ended up being a close ground wire in the trunk area.
