generially speaking 8inch wide should clear most brake hub
i know it's bitchin' to have a wide *** rear wheel but..understeering to FWD car=
newer accord and TL wheels will fit(five lugs to five lugs)

Why do you want staggered wheel sizes from front to back? So you get a bigger patch of rubber every 7k miles before you rotate them to the smaller width tires?

wouldnt be able to rotate them front-back, only left-right.
btw, i have 235/40-18's on 18x7.5's with a +45 offset. i havent had it rub a single bit and i also think that the offset could be lower because it seems like theres plenty space between the suspension and tire.

With that setup does the tires poke out/come out of the fender?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
by my eye, it seems to be flush but if any pokes out, id say maybe 1mm.

Re: Wide Accord Wheels? ("Hites")
Have you lowered your car??
I know on mine that if I had them "poking" out they would be rubing the fender.
Is ther any Noticable difference in performance by going from a 225 to a 235, or does it have to be more of an increase to be able to notice? I just need new tires, I blew one in the fall right before I put my car away. thanks

Re: Wide Accord Wheels? ("Hites")
did you notice a difference btween 235 and 245?
I just wanna know if its worth the extra 60 bucks a tire.
Ive always had 225's and ive always been happy with them, but if its worth it, then ill try alittle bigger.

i had the 245's on the front of my sc400 with 275's out back. thing handled great even though it was a porker at ~3600lbs. of course, bigger meats in the back induces understeer. honestly, i cant tell you if there was or wasnt a difference because the tires were/are on 2 different vehicles; sorry.
