What fits in my '07 Honda Accord V6?
Hi,
I want to put a better intake and exhaust on my sedan but I'm having trouble finding parts that fit. Anyone know of some intakes that are not too expensive that would fit my engine?
3.0L V6 off the 2007 gen.

K&N makes an intake specifically for this car...or you can look at the shape and source others that are similar, or can make your own...
Magnaflow makes a catback for your car. Or you can buy quality mufflers and resonators and have it custom done at an exhaust shop.

Thank you for your response! I've looked at the K&N intakes, and it looks like they only make CAI for my car. I don't wanna risk that since where I live it rains a lot. I'd rather go with a short ram. I've found this on Ebay, and not sure if it's even worth the buy, or should I just get a drop in filter for a little more?

Will this intake damage the engine?

x2 on the K&N intake system. They are proven to make power as seen on their dynographs, and their filter has a 1,000,000 mile (Yes, one million) warranty.

I think the CAI and SR thing may be overrated. If rain is a real problem, then OEM may be the best, or a 4X4 truck. With that said, I would not rule about full CAI system. You can take off the down pipe portion and convert it to a SR.
I have a full Injen CAI system, which can convert to SR or CAI. I end up just leaving it at SR and sold the down pipe. That taking off the bumper thing gets old fast on a DD car, even if one was to do it 2-3X a year.
BTW, do you drive in mad traffic? There have been Accord guys that experienced stalling with SR because it just gets too hot under the hood. I never had that happened to me with 110 degree heat. My drive is slow, smooth, and moving. But it does for some.

Another thing for OP to consider is, if he was to switch SR and CAI, the filter may not always fit. Ok, yes, it does fit.
In my case, the filter for the CAI was "too big" for the SR. So it get's bump a lot with engine vibration, etc, etc. So I end up getting a smaller K&N for SR use. When you consider battery size, and space you would like to have-work with, sometimes one would "have to" go with a smaller filter and of different shape.

I ended up just buying this , just gonna cut the pipe, and stick a 3" filter on it. If I end up selling this car, I'll be able to throw it on another Acura/Honda with just a new coupler. Still allows me to use a cone air filter.
Do you guys think this was a good idea?

The Injen system came with my car when I bought it. If I was to do it again, I would have gone something "simple" (cheaper like what you got). It's really just a metal tube.

If you are on a budget, sure. That's pretty much all you need. When people talk about CAI and rain or SR and heat, IMO 9.8 out of 10 is not going to be an issue.

Learn from my mistakes. Don't always depend on what people say on forums. Measure it yourself, and question and remeasure again. Example. My car had a cheap no name filter. I want to replace it with K&N. The pipe is 3". The filter was 3" too. But when I order the K&N at 3" I could not get it on. Because it was not really 3". It comes in sizes like 73,74,76,78, 79mm all could be consider "3 inches."
The cheap filter's rubber fitting will stretch and therefore it fit. K&N was of better quality. I had to get a 78mm, and it was very tight fit. I could have "loose $$$" twice.
