Water leak from behind glovebox when engine is running
A week ago I noticed my 2003 Accord's passenger side front floor was soaked. I pulled up the carpet so that it could dry. Now I see that water is leaking down the wall behind the glovebox.
Some other clues:
- Leaks about 1 drop every 30 seconds
- Starts about 2 minutes after engine is on.
- Stops a few minutes after engine is off.
- It has rained a lot lately, but leaking happens on both rainy and sunny days.
- Still happens if AC and vents are not used
- Some drops come from the left side of the floor near the radio console while others come about a foot to the right of that.
Any ideas?

It could be the heater hose where the water runs through the engine and into the car, does your car run on coolant or plain water?

If you have air conditioning it's condensation from your AC spilling into your vehicle instead of outside on the ground. It's a clogged line to your air conditioner which has been clogged with debris, leaves and such. A little compressed air should do the trick.
It might also be a coolant leak from your heater core. It will have a slimy, greasy feel if it's coolant. It will also have a sweet odor. Do not taste - its poisonous.

No smell or greasiness in the liquid. I'm pretty sure it's water.

Interesting you ask that. Jiffy Lube put a new one in a few months ago. Since then, I occasionally get a high pitched sound coming from the vents when the steering wheel is turned far in one direction. Nothing seemed wrong, so I haven't done anything about it. Is there something I should check?
Thanks for everyone's help.

If the cabin filter is not on properly, maybe that rain water will start to leak out as the engine and car causes movement.
Based on your description of where the water is coming from, that is the only part of the car that is "connected to the outside" where rain water can get in.
Just a guess.

I found the problem. There is a soft rubber hose shown in the very lower left corner of the picture in my original post leading through the floor. I pulled gently on that hose, felt something snap into place, then water straining draining onto the driveway. Water continued coming out for 30 minutes or so.
On the drive to work this morning, there were no drips. That hose must have become clogged or misaligned and didn't allow water to drain.

Where do i do the compressed air from?
