Default Transmission Fill Hole Missing

where is the transmission fill hole on the auto 2.4Ls? is it the distick location? also, am i suppose to loosen up another bolt prior to the drain bolt?

its the dipstick tube. i normally take it out before i drain so it drains faster.

so all i have to do is remove the dipstick? do i have to worry about the other fill bolt? or it doesnt exist?

you fill it through the dipstick tube, and if you drained it you realized its an pan that comes off and is cleaned

im sorry but what do you mean by if you "realized its an pan that comes off and is cleaned" ?? like drop the pan instead?

There is no pan on a Honda transmission. There is no fill bolt on the 4 cylinder transmission. The dipstick is the only way. I imagine, if you took the dipstick out, you would need a very very long funnel (I could be wrong, I don't have a 4 cylinder). The important thing, is to make sure you have a funnel that will work, before you drain the fluid, and have no way to refill the tranny.

the dipstick isnt really low like the older accords. on the k24a4, the dipstick is about 1 foot below the hood.
