Throttle cable tension issues P2122,p2127,p0108
Wuz up everyone,
I recently change my pedal accelerator position sensor (the whole assembly)because I got a code P2138. So I turn on my car and my car begin having low idle and stall. I check the ob2 machine again. And now I got p2122,p2127,and p0108 but no p2138. I am baffle and need help tensioning throttle cable. How do you get the right tension on the throttle cable? Is the throttle cable causing all this codes. Before all the 3 codes listed below I just had code P2138= throttle pedal position accelerator sensor.
P2122= pedal switch d circuit low input.
P2127= pedal position validation 2 low
P0108= map/baro circuit high input.

Double check everything. Only thing I can think of is throttle cable tension is not right. Is their a way to check it? Could it be a fuse or voltage that is not right somewhere. If which fuse would it be. Thanks. I think the timing of the cable not right? Thanks for the reply.

Did you ever unplug the map sensor.on the throttle body. Because that code p0108 looks like a code it throws when its not plugged in. Also did you reset all the codes after the repair? as for the throttle cable, you want to have a small amount of slacK, barely any. You don't want it tight as it will,hold the throttle plate open.

if all connections are tight and your throttle cable has a little slack . I would say try disconnecting battery to reset pcm and see what happens.

yup that part which had 6 pin connector and where you attached the throttle cable to. How do I try to get the low idle back to normal and engine stall?

I believe The Throttle Cable slack is to be 10 to 12mm. Thats what it says in the service manual.

On the passengers side of the engine compartment is where The APP sensor is. You remove the plastic cover Held on by 2 10mm bolts you will see the cable measure the cable slack from there. You can go on youtube and look up one of EricTheCarGuys videos on it although its different car. It can give you idea on how to adjust it. I would get the Factory Honda service Manual if you dont have one.

Thanks everyone, got the car to idle better. Is 800 normal for startup?
