1-oil consumption about 1 qt every 3k to 5k on most cars
2-problem on the rear brake pads etc.

1qt every 4k doesn't sound bad. ppl usually change engine oil around that time anyways. and Honda came out with solution for rear pads so don't worry about that. Good luck!

80,000miles .. eek. That is a lot of miles man, many times cars that seem like an awesome deal (High miles but cheap price for a "nice car" ) tend to be more "fixer uppers" than anything. First the Belt goes.. than the water pump, need need brake pads and than the tranny goes etc... just make sure you know what you are buying!
The Honda Accords are generally good reliable vehicles with a bite to them. But 80,000miles is a hefty experience ticket for any vehicle.

cars are usually sold year before. This 08' is probably driven 07' and it's mid 11'. < 80k around 4 years is pretty good. I'm from Maryland and 25-30k a year is average. Plus 80K on Honda is warm up. I say go for it

Where did this car come from? Dominican Republic is an island. How does one rack up 80K miles in 4 years on an island? And (without knowing anything about the place), no freeway (?). So one can't say it's all "highway miles."
The oil consumption is and should be only on new engines. Over time, the consumption should die down to what people consider normal. You have no way of knowing how this car will be, being used.
Honda installed V clips on the rear brakes. The 08 (with 80K miles) should already not be on the OEM brakes. If non Honda pads are installed on the car, they should be fine.
Lastly, the V6 is going to need timing belt soon. Not now, but maybe later at 90K, 100K, 110K, I don't recall. So factor that in your negociation.

So it's most likely a U.S. mainland car. Oh, and check to see if the transmission fluid have been changed. It should be pinkish red. Not brown.

Just replace the rear pads/rotors, and change the transmission fluid and your set.
80k miles on a 08 is a lot, though.
