I recently got a good deal on a 2012 Accord EX K24Z3 sedan, and have been googling trying to figure out if there's any sort of worthwhile bolton performance upgrades worth doing. From what I gather, it's not a good engine to work on, but was hoping that someone had any sort of specific useful advice to help me get the last drop of performance out of the little 190hp 2.4 cylinder motor. If I am high and retarded right now for not being able to locate an answer for this topic, or this is being posted in the wrong place or anything feel free to delete.

I mean, I'm willing to pay a max for like $3k for mods. I see there is a K&N filter for the model that claims to add 11 HP, but I feel like that's a bit exagerated and not a ton anymore. I was hoping there was some sort of kit including any number of items like a full exhaust, intake headers, CAI, maybe even a safe supercharger or turbo kit, etc. Any ideas or direction is appreciated. Sorry to be such a newb I just really don't have a lot of faith in my google research when it comes to invested thousands into a new car
