some help please
Hi everyone,
i have an 2005 honda accord v6
about a week ago started having some problems Rpm revving up on its own car not shiffting correctly.
i plugged in OBD and got 2 readings
-Pressure Control Solenoid A performance stuck OFF
-Pressure Control Solenoid B performance stuck ON
Anyone know how much its going to cost to fix this, and is there a way to test the solenoids?
Anyone else have this same problem?
Thanks everyone in advance.

Re: some help please
It should be this part.
To test:
1. Disconnect two electrical connectors to solenoid valve A and solenoid valve B.
2. Measure the resistance for each of the solenoid valves, they should be from 3 - 10 Ohms.
3. If the resistance of either solenoid valve is out of standard, replace the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve.
4. If the resistance is within the standard, connect the battery negative terminal to l solenoid valve A and B connector terminal No. 2, and connect the battery positive terminal to the terminal No. 1.
o If a clicking sound is heard, look for rust, dirt, or oil. Clean and reconnect.
o If no clicking sound is heard, then you may have to replace the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve.
Honda part is around $200 - $250 depending on whether you buy online or directly at the dealership. Less if you buy aftermarket; but, I would be wary of aftermarket parts.
