Rubbing sound when turning steering wheel
2005 Accord v6 106,000miles
noise started when driving at slow speeds (parking lots, etc), at first light rubbing sound. sound has increased over time. now its rather loud at higher speeds, when turning the steering wheel. sound is not present when driving and Not turning wheel. no clicking or other sounds. just a strong rubbing sound when wheel is turning either right or left.
any suggestions welcome. thank you!

I put it on ramps and went underneath. its hard to completely isolate the source, but sounds like its coming from an enclosed box underneath the car, slightly on the drivers side
