Default Is this a good deal? 97 Accord EX-L w/ Nav

I have a dealer who is asking $15300.00 out the door for a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L w/ Nav Certified with 53,326 miles. Does this sound like a reasonable offer? Are there any other questions I should ask? Thank you.

You didn't specify if it was a Honda Certified car, but if it is then it's definitely a reasonable deal. Even if it's not Honda Certified, then it's still a fair deal - but you may want to run an AutoCheck on it and inspect the wear items more closely (tires, brakes, suspension, fluids). The Honda CPO checklist is pretty thorough and has some strict standards for body repair history and maintenance/wear items, and although I've seen some shady dealers try to cheat it, you're generally going to get a car in good shape and with a great warranty to boot. If you're willing to pay $15,300 out the door, then by all means buy it.

If the car is Honda Certified and looks clean to you, the only thing I'd bother to ask about is if they have the service history available. Ask for the brake lining and tire tread readings and if they've changed the engine oil and transmission fluid since the car has been on the lot, so you'll know what has already been done and what still needs to be done in terms of general maintenance.

Just whatever you do, don't ask them how many owners the car has had or if it's a one-owner car. That question invariably makes the person asking it look like a doofus.
