i have the 2004 honda accord v6, few months ago, i replaced all the 4 rotors b/c the rear left get serious rust( whole disc get rusted even i drive for a long time) , but recently my rear left rotor totally get rusted again, i may have to replace it, this is my third time to replace the rear left rotor ONLY, do you know why dose it get rusted so quick?
i drive the car only over the weekend, but the thing is the rear right rotor still runs good, i changed the 2 rear rotor at the same time, i don't know how come the rear left get rusted so quick, it's the third time to get rusted again, do you u think i should replace the rear left caliper? thanks

Re: rear left rotor get rust again
rust is perfectly normal part of a disk that is made from IRON. I get completely rusted disks 30 minutes after washing my car, this is normal. if you drive the car for 5 minutes, the rust will be gone and does not affect performance. IF, and I say IF, your disk is still COMPLETELY rusted after driving your car for a period of time, then your caliper is probably not functioning correctly.
