Hello all. 2007 Honda Accord 2.4. Has had a clunking noise for awhile now when braking or taking off. It’s stesdily gotten worse. When the Key is off and I rock the steering wheel you can really hear it. I check the cv joints , ball joints tie rods etc they all seem tight. Boots are clean. Even the boots on the rack look clean. So I’m thinking it’s the rack and pinion. How hard of a job is that to do yourself? Is there anything else it could be that I’m missing? I even took the calipers off and check for rocks etc. any ideas?
