Question When Hooking up A/C Compressor
This is on my 06 Accord V6 6 speed sedan. So, I removed my A/C compressor last weekend and installed a new one this weekend. In the mean time I apparently forgot how how the lines connect. The upper line has a "neck" style piece that bolts on and the line connects to that. However, the lower line hooks directly into the compressor. Here is a Google picture I found, but it looks identical.
The issue is that the lower line only has one bolt that holds it in, yet there is a bolt hole both under the hole for the line and to the side of it. The service manual shows this, but only shows you putting in the one bolt as well. Does anyone know what goes in the second bolt hole? I feel like I'm forgetting something here.
Also, has anyone installed a Denso compressor and had an issue with the plug? While similar, it doesn't allow my plug to connect to it. I'm thinking I may just cut the plug off of the old compressor and solder it onto this one. I was wondering if anyone had an ideas before I tried that?
