Icon3 Push button start

Could I install a starter button on my 05 Accord Hybrid?

Are they easy or hard to install?
Is it worth installing?
(Stupid question)....will it void my warranty if installed?

where would you want to put the button?? Did you think of how it would affect your security system? I have never seen a PB module for an accord, but anything can be done with the proper funds. I would save your money & get a car that already has it.

Sounds like an idea. checkZvtec does have have a point regarding the security system.

Guess a remote start might be the way to go. If i hear anything new I'll post it here.

Push button start with a key-based ignition switch is useless. It takes more effort to start the car and serves no useful purpose other than a novelty gimmick. It also introduces additional points of failure and complication.

Leave the start buttons to cars that use a keyless proximity fob.

yea, it's not so easy to install a PB when there is already a key-ingition in the steering column. the new SRX caddy does not have it b/c it is based off a european saab that has the key in the column. funny thing is, i recall saabs from 1998 having PB starts. also, the older/bigger SRX had PB start, so its funny the new one does not. an article stated it was too expensive to modify with the key/column unit already there. CNNMoney, read it today.
