Pulling a K24A4 Accord Engine, any advice?

I can pull D series civic motors all day long with 0 issue but the K is just so foreign to me. Any advice on removal? It's a 2003 Accord EX-L with an auto trans

I'm going to pull the engine to do some head/valve/timing chain work, I figure it's just easier out of the vehicle

Can I pull the engine and leave the transmission in the engine bay? Or is it absolutely necessary to pull both engine and trans as 1 unit?

Should I unclip the engine harness from the engine? Or leave it on the engine and detach it from the body of the car?

I pulled one over the summer. Pretty easy to do. Leave the trans, it will separate pretty easy once the trans/engine bolts are out and flex plate bolts are removed. Make sure you label the bolts because a lot of them are similar in size.

Once you unplug injectors and sensors from the engine just move the harness out of the way, leave it attached at the computer. At least one of the exhaust bolts broke on me, they are pretty rusty, but not a big deal. I removed intake plenum to remove the starter. Leave the compressor attached to the ac hose just remove it from engine(bolts are going to take some effort to get out) and sit it aside, same goes for power steering.

I'm almost done pulling it, I'm leaving the transmission in and just pulling the engine. I took the harness off the engine, and you're right the AC compressor bolt down low is a bitch lol.
