OMG my 2003 accord coupe engine won't shut off
I had been working on a power window problem and had to stop as my 1991 GMC was stolen, recovered and had to repair the damage. Now I am back on the accord. Yesterday the car would not shut off. Turned the key to the off position and it just kept running.I had to pull the Fuel pump/injector fuse to get the car to shut down. If I put the fuse back in you can hear the fuel pump relay clicking on and off with the fuse being put in and out. . Pulled the battery cable to make sure there was no battery drain or if there was a short no fire. I checked the ignition switch continuity and it is not at fault.. I have checked the ignition switch loom to left under dash fuse panel, no shorts there. After sitting for a while I put the cable back on the battery and fuel fuse back in the block. and tried to start, Crank but no start at first. The green key was flashing momentarily and then finally shut off, turned the key and it started, but again turned the key to '0' and no shut down of the engine. Could this be a main relay problem? I cannot hear an audible click when shutting the car off with the key. I am going to pull the fuse block off the kick panel left side and see if there is something I did not catch when I was working on the windows. I wanted to post here before continuing to get some experienced input as I move forward. Thanks for your time.

Well EVERYTHING is fixed now. Windows work from the master and individual door switch. The vehicle turns off. The intermittent TCS lights gone... SRS light functioning normal. It ended up being a left over relay tucked up in the dash. It was for the stupid plasma headlamps that the previous dipstick owner had put in and spliced into the ignition and into the hot lead to the master window switch???!!!. It failed from screwed up wiring and exposed the whole problem I have been having. At first I thought it was a aftermarket alarm ignition cutoff system. But found that it ran out to the engine compartment and terminated at the fender well and patched into the headlamp loom above where I replaced with an original. This was a weird one for sure.
