OEM Brake pads and rotors BREAK IN PROCEDURE
i bought rear oem honda brake pads and installed em. is there a break in process like the hawk brake pads, or should u just ride them slow for 2-400 miles??
also, i bought oem replacement rotors from autozone (duralast), and was wondering if there was a break in process? let me know

Common sense should tell you how to break them in.
However, it's a safety feature. Use them as you would. If you need to stop in any situation, do it. New parts or not.

o........ok.......common sense is not always right in physics...most pads and rotors have a break in procedure dude...i just didn't get any break in instructions or anything that came with the oem pads and rotors, so i'm guessing just no hard braking for couple hundred miles...if i'm wrong, someone tell me

drive the car hard and slam the brake but make sure they dont lock. You want to bed in the rotor correctly right? Also do it on a open lot so you can't hit anything or anyone. first do it at 35mph then 55mph then 75mph There should be a how to on google.

Honda oem pads have no break in procedure. As for rotors clean the rust protectir with some brake clean and slap them on. Drive live normal
