I have a set of these in storage from a friend. Are these 17X7 or 17x6.5?

What is the max width tire I could run on these wheel. I was thinking a 225-50-R17 as opposed to the standard 215-50-R17. I do not want to drop the sidewall down to a 45 series unless I went with a 235-45-R17, but I doubt I could fit a 235 width on these stock rims. PS: They are going on a 2006 Accord Sedan.

Have any pictures? Are the rims 6.5" or 7" wide?

Well if u have the rims handy the width is inside the rim, itll say something like 17x6.5 or 17x7.0 and so forth, this way u no exactly , with a width of 6.5 0r 7.0 u dont want to go to wide , a wdth of 7.5 u can fit a 235/50/17, so the smaller the width the smaller u go , i think u can go as wide as 215 max 235 and this is a guess cuz i dont know wat ur rims look like, 215/40 or 45 or 50 /17, i put 235/40/18 on my accord and it stays flush with the fender, so if u go 235 it wont be sticking out and if u drop it, itll tuck in the fender in need be..just my 2cents

Rims are in storage at my buddies place. I have OEM 17x7 HFPs now, but I love the look of the 6-6s. I would like to run a 225-50-R17, a little wider than the 215-50-R17.
