OBX Exhaust
Who here has OBX exhaust for V6? I heard that you need to buy an o2 sensor to get rid of check engine light after install. I also heard that it is not carb legal or something so it will not pass emissions tests / cop inspections. Are these statements true, and also, how is the OBX exhaust quality?

Re: OBX Exhaust
Well from wat i see there is no o2 sensor conncetion on ur exhaust , unless ur changing the cat, if ur changing the ur exhaust to the from cat to muffler, ur check engine light will not come on, the only prob;em u will have for inspections is if its to loud , it will pass since ur cat is still connected, dont know about the quality of obx exhaust , most people that ive seen are going with magnoflow exhaust with 2.1/4 piping or 2.5 from cat to mufler, g/l with ur search ...

I don't have a V6. But I will say that you don't need a O2 sensor. All O2 sensors should be before the (2nd) cat. Even cat-backs should have no effect on O2 sensors since they are in front of it. (As already stated above). If you doing headers, then, yes. There will be O2 sensors somewhere before and/or after.
How is OBX quality? I used to own a OBX muffler for my old Civic. I say they are good quality and next best compare to major big name brands. I rank them higher than Megan Racing, which I would still buy.
Inspection? Depend on your state. My state just plug in the OBD II and good to go - unless it's a really old car. Some state does a visual any aftermarket parts is no good (I guess, unless you show proof).
