Default No Juice

Yesterday, I stopped in my local Speedway for a soda. When I came back out and tried to leave, my 2004 Accord EX V6 Coupe would not start. No clicking, cranking... nothing. Everything in the car was fully functional (radio, windows...). The battery I have presently is 3 months old and is a replacement to one I bought in 12/06. I had the car jumped, started right up. I took it to Advance Auto Parts (where the last 2 batteries came from). They tested the car and said the battery was good. Any suggestions (that don't require taking the car into my dealer as my extended warranty ran out 1,200 miles ago)? A bit of history... the car has been relatively reliable with the exception of the 'typical radio problem', power steering pump, and presently the A/C Compressor with noisy bearings. I am at the point I am ready to trade it off, but I am $7,000 upside down, acoording to my salesperson! Definately my 5th and LAST HONDA!

So there's zero clicking when you try to start the car?

Did the accessories (dash light, radio, lights, etc.) turn on when you tried cranking it?
Are you sure it's not a "Hot starter" problem? What's the ground look like? Are the terminals clean and tight? What CCA is the stock vs. this battery? How's the battery fluid?

Has the same thing happened since?

You said it's been relatively reliable, yet you swear this will be your last Honda, how come?

Relatively being the operative word. Up until 6 months ago, the only issue I had was the radio (that went down at 45000 miles and was 'out for service' for a total of 45 days - 3x around 15 days each time). The other issues didn't happen till recently. Everything seemed normal when attempting the start. I thought with a battery issue, there would be some sort of crank or click (like before). This time nothing. I do love Honda. But it seems the last 3 I (and my ex) have had, each has had some sort of issue (her 03 leaks through both passenger side doors - bought new, never wrecked - interior carpet replaced under warranty 2x). Our '99 was purchased new and was covered in acid rain damage (we didn't pay attention to it until I waxed the car a couple of months into it). My 04 also has the acid rain damage, but I bought it with 10,000 miles on it. I would consider the 08 for purchase - along with a 100k miles warranty. But I have been looking at the 08 Lexus ES350, 08 Caddy CTS and the 08 Lincoln MKZ. Not sure what I am gonna do yet, but I am checking out all options! Thanks!
