Default New(to me!) 03 Accord EX-L

I am pretty amped, today I bought a 2003 Accord EX-L, 2.4L Auto, 4dr with 48K on the clock. It's in great shape, silver with black interior. I need it for work and my family as a baby's on the way and I'm not likely to get a car seat in a 7" lifted jeep.

Anyway I was wondering about making it a little sportier by adding a spoiler to the trunk lid(yes I searched, found 4 threads that didn't help at all). Does anyone have any pics of theirs or available ones? I found a ton on Ebay but most look like junk. Is lund okay? Where can I get a factory one?
How's this?

I found one guy who has JDM spoilers for it, is this the way to go?

I am checking out headers and exhaust, is it worth it? Are OBX or JDM good headers? Will they really gain 5-10HP as claimed? Any low end? Or will nothin gain low end, lol?

It's great to have a Honda finally!

Paul

Welcome to the Honda family. I'm not too familiar with the K24 accord engines, but I do know that the K20s in the RSX respond well to bolt on mods. Decent mods designed for your car won't hurt the bottom end of the powerband, but probably won't make a noticeable difference either. I would go with the more popular name brands for mods; I still remember buying an OBX exhaust for my Integra, lining it up under the car, and having both the rear hangers about 6" away from the exhaust mounts. I thought it was safe buying some longer rubber mounts than my car normally uses, but during a snowstorm that winter I found out the hard way on an unplowed road that I should have either bought a decent brand or gotten a 6" exhaust extension at a muffler shop.

If you wanted something sporty, you should have looked into the v6 accords. With the gas prices + the market being flooded with trade-ins for the all new 2008 Accord, the v6s can be had for a great price. I got mine for 3k less than KBB.

Thanks for the advise, I meant sporty as far as appearence. I thought about the V6 but really wanted to keep the better milage of the 4 banger. I just wanted a little more omph out of it if I can get it without sacrificing milage. Plus V6s around here actually are more than the 4 cyl. I needed to keep to a budget so the EX-L for 14K seemed like a great deal.
