Default New Guy with 06 accord and a question

Hi All, first of all Hello.
I just bought and 06 exl accord v6 for my daily driver. So far, I absolutely love it. It has 19k miles on it, and its a Honda certified. My only issue with this car...and its driving me absolutely crazy, Its a noise that I thought to be spark knock, but after listening for a week, Im certain its not.
The noise sounds like its comming from underneath the car, and happens upon accelleration. Its a light metallic clanging sound, and it typicallly goes away above 3k RPMs. Its a serious downer b/c the car is so smooth, and so nice, but its sounds worse than my 99 jeep with 180k sounded b4 getting rid of it. Ive been searching online, havent found much. Have any of you heard of this issus? TY, Chris.

Since ur car is certified take it back to the dealer and tell them the problem, and see if they can figure it out...

The six cylinder's injectors can also be noisy enough that people think that there is something wrong w/the car.

The injectors clicking, is the only sound I hear from my engine. Everything else is so smooth it's hard to believe it will stay that way. 65k miles so far, and as smooth as ever. The injectors seem to quiet down after the engine warms up. Some people probably mistake this for ticking valves.

wow, thanx guys. One of my friends suspected the heat shield, bc the noise is not exactly from the engine. I took it to Honda, they just hooked it up to the computer and said everything was within spec. Im going to bring the bulletin and make them listen to the noise.
