Re: New Accord (ua6spec)
Anything specific you would like to know or have thoughts on about the new Accord?
I like the new design and think it has many pro's and a con or two.
The looks for one are great IMHO. The one complaint I have is the rear view mirror is too close to the headliner therefore making it difficult to get your hand on it to adjust.
2008 + is now offering a Honda Installed Remote start, although a bit pricey it is a nice setup except for the large remote. Just peice of mind knowing it is a dealer installe unit and comes with very nice wiring install.
I could go on and on. Just let us know what you would like to know.

Re: New Accord (Smitdog)
In regards to the mirror (I haven't been in the new Accords, so i couldn't tell you exactly) aren't they based off of 2 pivot points like most standard mirrors, thus making it actually adjustable at both points? Most people only use the first, but there's usually a second one too...

Re: New Accord (Splaturn)
I don't own one, but just by driving a loaner I don't like the NAV setup (no touch screen) or the alloy wheel design. The loaner had a 4 banger, which I wouldn't want anyway (not because there was anything wrong with it, I just don't like the lack of power), but other than those things, I enjoyed it.

Re: New Accord (ua6spec)
i absolutely love the car so far (about 3 months & 4200mi)
there are some negatives (albiet, minor ones).
the C pillar is relatively thick, and with the low rake of the rear window it does make over the shoulder viewing difficult... just have to be careful making lane changes and backing out
also, with the longish front end, im still not quite used to the dimensions of the car, you can't really "see" the front end or the drop off of the hood.
i've gotten used to the oem Michelin's and the road noise, but i'll be replacing with something else when it comes time...
besides that nothing but praise... it's fun messing around with TL's

Re: New Accord (Kasakuto)
the mpg really varies on driving style...
i really pushed the car right after the break in period for a tank and barely got 19mpg... another time i cruised it around 75mph on the highway (day after getting a speeding ticket on a mountain road) and got just over 25mpg. so far im averaging right around 22 with about 40/60, road/hwy and keeping it around 75mph on the fwy

Whaaaaa?
-------------------------------------------
o8EXLCoupe pretty much nailed the big things... the b and c pillars are a pain, but just take care and your fine.
OEM tires are the suck, but we all knew that.
there is a TSB for the six speed for a given VIN sequence, but I am pretty sure those are all sold vehicles.
I don't really care about gas millage, that's not why I bought this car
