the car is shutoff, the third brake light and the rear outside light on the left taillight wont shut off. the right taillight no lights. I love Hondas but am new to this new age of automobiles.

if anyone can help I will do "backflips"!

this a guess... but try resetting the system by pulling the negative battery cable for about 10 minutes.

I think I found the problem,i think it was the brakelight/stoplight switch located up underthe steering column, but I replaced with brand new, 9.00 switch, tested still had the same p;roblem, funny tho, when I pull out on the brake pedal , it seems to un-engage said switch, any thoughts on that? I am maybe thinking the brake pedal needs adjusted? or even the switch maybe? lol im such a noob!

Makes perfect sense because it was what was wrong lol didn't have that plunger on the switch pushed in all the way before I locked it in place , quick fix! my right taillight is till not functioning checked both bulbs both are good , thinking maybe a short somewhere in the harness lol not really my are but and diagnosis tips would be great!
