Manual key lock will not work after replacing actuator
I recently replaced the driver's side door actuator on my 2010 Honda Accord EXL. When my friend went to install it, there was a part that snapped into the right side, had a tip that looked like a flat head and had a white cap that snapped on. I believe he may have broken that because it would not snap back on. One day I tried to use my key to open the day and it wouldn't unlock. Could it be from that part? What was it if so? Or maybe did the lock rod come off? HELP!!

Sounds like you're referring to inner handle cable (white cap). If that part is broken, you can get the inner handle cable from the dealer. List price is $6.97.
Take the door panel apart to see what is the issue.
