main differences?
i have a civic now and am looking for a car with a little more power. i have just begun looking into accord EX's now. 03-05 preferably as that is the price i am looking in. i am looking for a V6, 6spd, CF interior trim, black leather, factory lip kit, the factory option 5 spoke wheels, fogs... LOADED
now i am looking through the years on auto trader and cars.com and am wondering what the difference is between the 03's and 05's? anything at all.
sorry is this has been asked already

The only difference I know of is cosmetic-taillights.
Unless that's a one owner car with all history in hand, that's too high. I paid about that for mine with 38k last summer. Looks like a nice car if they will move on the price some-around $12,000 or less. There is a $1000 deduct for miles on an '03 with 82k. But again, if it's a one owner and in the condition it says, feel good about it. Just never buy the first car you see unless it's a deal. This is coming from a wholesaler.

ya that was just a example of what i was looking for. i always spend time searching around first and look what they go for.
are the V6's any quick for their weight? i have only drove one before and it was at my work so i could not really test it.

I don't think they are quicker, but they are faster-if that makes any sense. A lot of people prefer the handling of the 4cyl because of the weight. I just wanted the overall power-plus the MPGS aren't much different-especially on the hwy.

those are for sedans, 03-05 are all same, 06-07 have differen tailights for sedan and coupe, interior is a little different, cosmetics on the front and back are different, different fogs, engines have been a little tweaked but parts from 03-05 will fit, i know because i have a gen7. the 4cylinder...k24 have great gas mileages on street and highway, the j30..the v6 have a little bit less gas mileages...v6 has way more power but k series have more potential...it all matters down to how much your getting the accord for..what year, is it stick or auto, and what engine, the mileage.

There isn't a whole hell of a lot that you'll want to do with the big J motors, honestly. They are quite fast out of the box, however, and you're not going to have much of a need to add power, IMHO.
I'd buy a Torsen axle and work on the suspension some before I considered upping the horsepower.
You're also going to find some disappointing weirdness if you do try to up the HP. For example, the J motors have integral exhaust headers that cannot be removed from the heads, so there's no real possibility for an aftermarket header unless you're doing serious modifying. Even the 2006 Honda factory Grand Am cars use the OEM headers.
My sincere advice would be to leave the motor alone and just enjoy yourself.
There's a building performance trend, however, based on the ease with which you can drop in the motor and computer from the 300 HP 3.5 !
