Life of stock G7 suspension parts?
My wife's '06 V6 coupe has nearly 50k miles now.
How long before I should start looking for an HFP suspension to replace the OEM stuff?

Ya, I used to do that too, wait for stuff to "need" replaced, just so I could upgrade
Honestly, there are a lot of factors, and depends on what you're using it for. Normal driving, well, I'm sure MINIMUM they'd go 100k on average. All my honda's had 180+ with factory suspension. Of course those where civics, and the accords a lot heavier.
Is this car going to be raced?

My 06 4 cylinder EX sedan's suspension felt like day one when I turn it in, but I didn't have 50K on the clock.
I've gone 110K on OEM for a Civic, and yet had a recommendation to replace the the shocks on my Integra with about 60K.
I would start shopping for deals (or saving for it) now, with the attitude of no-rush to replace them. If you got the cash, do it now. I also have a situation (another civic) where bad shocks damage my "good tires." I end up having to do shock and tires = lots of $$$
I would not hesitate at 50K, without the feeling of "I didn't get my money's worth with the OEM parts."

Really depends on how its been driven and road quality in your area and if its been driven by one person or loaded with kids or bullshit every day, a lot of factors like was already stated.
My mother bought an 05' recently with 65k and it rides and handles like new, not even a squeak or rattle in the interior. It was driven by an old man not someone like me who actually drives a car lol. I'm lookin for one myself, a manual coupe, I'm betting 100k will be tops for my driving style.
