k24/20 w/ 6 Speed TSX (LSD) in Accord Coupe
Hi Honda-Tech users,
I am going to begin on my daily driven Accord k24/20 project soon, but I came across some problems that I would like to ask for your advice. The problem consists of these questions: Weight ratio: Accord weights ~3100lbs RSX weights ~2700lbs How can I reduce the weight of the my Accord without interior stripping? Maybe sparco seats? Lighter rims? Trying to avoid losing rear seats and other luxury items. Accords steering is really soft compared to the RSX stiff steering. How can I make the Accord's steering similiar to the RSX's? I noticed on the Accords that as I hit potholes or bumps, it tends to push my steering wheel towards the bump either left or right, compared to the RSX stiff steering, it would barely move or not even move at all. I will keep this thread updated on my build. Currently aiming for 250-300hp. Going for N/A for now, maybe FI later. TORQUE BEAST. k20a2 head Unsure about which internals to install to achieve my goal. k24a2 block RBC intake manifold karcept throttle body adapter k20a2 or s2k oil pump s2k or rdx fuel injectors Hondata K-Pro or AEM EMS (Hondata doesnt support the Accords, but someone said that a harness has been made, but unsure whether it works 100%.) 6 speed TSX manual transmission w/ LSD Aww shit. I need to go work. Can someone make some suggestions on internal motor work? It would nice. Thank you everyone for contributing to my project. I changed my mind. I am going to start first with the k24a2 with a 6 speed TSX manual transmission swap and then make further changed with internals after. |

hah, how much $ you got? you can buy my k20/24 build, was gonna put it in my accord, but i realize i dropped too much $ on it.
k20a2 head w/ * supertech steel retainers, dual valve springs and seats * BP stage 3 cams * BP flat faced valves * BP headstuds * 5 angle valve job * bronze valve guides * resurfaced k24a4 block w/ * 87.5mm bore * cometic headgasket * wiseco 12.5:1 pistons: gas ported w/ extra valve relief to accomadate BP cams * BP I-Beam rods * Balanced crank * ACL race bearings * k20a2 oil pump all labor performed by blacktrax *kpro w/ accord harness is also available interested? everything is new except block, head, and oil pump. |

well... i have this setup with the intention of a daily driver since i do drive my car daily =P i dont think it will be too aggressive b/c it doesnt really put out THAT much power, im only running a stage 2 clutch so the drive shouldnt be bad.
