Default K&N Intake vs non-brand name Intake.Plus more

I have a 2006 accord ex 2.4 . I want to add a Cold Air Intake to my accord. Now I been looking at a K&N thats 249 bucks, althought I came across one on ebay thats not a name brand. Just how much of a diff dose the k&n make over the off name brand one.
Also I want to buy OEM Amber fog light, but dealership want $324 to install. Just how hard is it to install them for my year accord.I'd hate rip apart the dash
Just the other day i raced a mr2 spider and i reached some where around 125-130mph and once i started to brake it was slowing me down but they started to get loud. why is that, Im thinking because there stock?

Thanks!

K&N and AEM are the best intakes out there the material there made out of keeps the air cooler dont go with an unamed brand unless you really dont care you just want like 2 or 3 more hp. the fog lights shouldnt be too hard to install look up guides online. and your brakes could be goin out if they start to squeak change them out. good luck

stop racing other cars because an intake is not going to make you beat cars on the street or anywhere. I would go with just a K&N drop in filter and keep it at that. Un named brand filters suck and are basically just paper with no filtration.

Stick with the K&N or AEM filters. They are gonna be built better and filtrate better then the cheap ones.

The k&n's are great and i'm also a fan of the AEM dryflows

if you have a MAF, go with Fujita, if not go Injen, these are the two best that work for our cars. problem with Fujita... its not carb legal in california, and i dont think AEM does a intake for the accord with the MAF sensor.. (i could be wrong).. but yeah.. make sure if you have that MAF sensor.. you might buy the wrong one

as for the brakes, you over heated them, if you do this alot they will warp on you.. sugest upgreading the rotors.

**add**you know what.. there is someone selling a Fugita for $90 at modifiedaccord.net go check it out man.

k&n makes 2 different kinds of the same cai. one is called the international model, the other is made for the Ca folk. i live in florida, so theres no inspections here. i think K&N is the highest quality of all the intakes. I also believe AEM is of the same caliber, however i have never used one. I use the K&N & love the deep bassy sound. as for performance, there is much better acceleration from 5-35mph when its 100 degrees here. this could be just b/c of the cai placement being lower & have nothing to do with K&N, but I do know what quality feels & looks & sounds like.
