Just Bought '03 V6 6M Coupe, is this normal?
Hey guys, just got out of a lude and into an '03 accord, and i noticed that when i shift gears, it seems to kind of "clunk" into gear... like i can hear it shifting... Im pretty sure it's not a grind because it's not like there is a ton of fiction or anything like that, or even a "grind" noise. Almost could be discribed as a hard shift. Is this normal in the new style trans?

Wait. Let me guess.... Your previous car was a hydro shifter? :-)
If you're comparing your 2003 Accord 6-6 to a 1999 Integra or a 1992 Civic then, yes, it's going to seem clunky and notchy, and make more noise.

ok cool... thats actually the response i wanted... i had a hydro h22 tranny so yea i was assuming/hopeing its just different, but just got the car, and wanted to be sure... thanks
