Default Re: Honda Crosstour engine codes

P0420 is "Catalyst system efficiency below threshold" (Means the engine computer has determined there is a difference between your upstream and downstream 02 sensors that is out of range, it uses input from the two sensors to cross-compare and determine if your catalytic converter is working)
  • Failed Catalytic Converter
  • Failed Downstream 02 Sensor
  • Major Exhaust Leak
  • Faulty Downstream 02 Sensor Wiring
These 3 are related to the ABS, VSA and SRS systems (Vehicle Stability Assist System, Anti-Lock Brake System and Saftey Restraint System.)
61-11 is for the SRS system (Means there is a problem detected in the operation of your seatbelt buckle) Gotta buckle Up! I have read a few things saying it may be covered under a Honda lifetime warranty, usually consists of replacing the buckle receiver.
18-14 is for the ABS and/or the VSA system
83-12 is for the ABS and/or the VSA system
