Honda Accord 2004, 2.4 Cyl, Auto Trsn, RPM Needle Meter Issue
Hi,
I tried to open RPM Needle from instrument cluster but could not come out. I put it back but its not showing correct rpm when I start engine. When I start needle is at 0 rpm and when drive its goes upto 1000 and above. I want to set at correct rpm. Please advice how set at correct rpm. It was working perfect. Just wanted to place one LED thats why I open it.

I went Honda Dealer. They said that they will take 3 hrs to diagnostics and they will confirm whether its timing chain issue. If that timing chain issue then they will take 6 hrs repair. After that they will see if this problem is going or not. I am not sure if they do not say this is 100% problem. Its costing me $850. Please suggest em what to do next if this timing chain problem get fixed but still same problem.
