Honda Accord 09 LX P -- Part Needed!!!
Hey all, i bought my car 2 months ago, and like an idiot I decided to stick a permanent gps dashboard disk on the 'tunnel' where the clock and radio display is housed (in lieu of the gps). I quickly realized that those dashboard mounts are an advertisement to have your car broken in to. ANyways, I used the hair dryer system to remove the dashboard mount from the area it was stuck on. Of course it left a nasty little ring right near the face of the clock. I am ocd and this really annoys me. First, does anyone know what this part is called? Second, how do I correct this problem? Can I go some where and have it painted? Can I order it from honda and have someone replace it? At this point I want some one to do the service for me, because I will probably make things worse if I try.
Thanks

I think that may be called the center display visor assembly:
77255-TA0-A01ZA VISOR ASSY., CENTER DISPLAY
(GRAPHITE BLACK)
Retail around $7.67 at Honda.

Replacing it requires removing the center pocket, driver's inner dashboard trim, passenger dashboard trim, audio-HVAC module first. The center display visor is held in with two phillip screws and six clips. The labor will be $ if you have someone replace it.
If the ring is adhesive, try some adhesive remover. Then clean and apply a vinyl cleaner/protector like Lexol. You can try the Lexol vinyl cleaner/protector which has a shine to it, as that may hide the ring if it is not adhesive.
Painting the part in place requires very good masking.
