Icon2 Headlight dim for split second

Hi there, has any one had this problem? I have an 05 Accord and my headlights keep dimming for a split second, this is especially noticable when it's cold and dark. It does the same thing in the summer, but not as much. I've had the car into the dealers, but they can't find anything wrong. This is driving me nuts, so I'm hoping someone out there has a fix.

is the a/c or front window defroster on when the dim? if so, the a/c compressor clutch is drawing power for that split second to engage. if thats not the case have the dealership perform a battery and charging system test on your car. hope this helps

aright look i got this one figured out. I got a 2006 sedan K24 and it dos the studder head lights dim and sounds like the ac compressor is cutting on. So i went to local honda and they said that honda and acura's have a "power control modul". Now saposivly this little device makes the alternator "do work".Or should i say more work under heavy loads. Like headlights on blower motor on high and rear window defrost on.this modual is supports power demand and prevents power spikes causing fuses to be blown left and right. Corect me if i am wrong but thats what the dealer said.

This is not a problem... it's a characteristic. there is no issue with the lighting system, the car passes all DOT lighting standards and in fact what is happening is that the car is RAISING the light output, and when you notice the flicker it's dropping back to normal... not the other way around
