H22a problems.

H22a problems.
So long story short. i dropped a jdm H22A into my accord over the summer. it hasn't run right since, (first motor work on new motor, i grew up with old V8's), it has been running extremely rich and had a lack of power. We tried everything. wiring, timing, sensors... nothing helped. back in November when we went to fix the timing the belt broke, and i finally got it fixed last night, had to use a friends p28 computer.
Now it runs perfect, starts up like a dream, the only problem... it falls flat on its face at 2,000 rpm.
anybody ever had this problem? any ideas on what it is? i'm pretty positive its a sensor problem, it would just save a lot of time if i knew what sensor.
thanks.

Re: H22a problems.
it the p28. you cant run p28 in the accord nor the prelude. some wiring is a lil different. try a p13 ecu. and see how it run. also make sure the oil balance belt timing is right to. if not it not goin to run right.

Re: H22a problems.
Is this in a CD Accord like your screenname suggests? Have you tried the stock P0A ECU or a P13? What kind of base map is set for the P28 or is it stock? Have you tested the MAP sensor yet?
Did you swap any pins around when you did the H22 swap? The P0A and P13 ECU pinouts are different; most people don't know that which is why the majority of H22 Accords constantly throw EGR codes.
