Default Good 'ol P2647 code/ oil pressure sensor problem

'03 Accord 2.4. Last summer, I was driving on the highway and engine light kicked on, car limping > 2500rpm. Engine code read P2647. Read that problem is with low oil and/ or pressure sensor...many 'o threads on here about it. Oil was a little low and added more, light still on and engine not kicking into Vtech. Ordered a new oil pressure sensor, before I got it in the mail I disconnected and reconnected the sensor. Boom, problem went away until this week, never installed the new sensor. After problem came back a few days ago, I installed new sensor. Check engine light went off about 10 seconds after firing her up. Drove around for 5 minutes, no problem. Got up to go to work the next day then with 2 minutes of driving, boom....car starts limping again and check engine light back on.

Somebody throw me a bone here! Replaced sensor, replaced gasket inside valve assembly. Flushed engine with 5 minute motor flush and changed oil. Again runs great until it sits overnight and CEL/ limping comes right back within a minute of driving.Should I just replace entire valve assembly since it seems I may have one of the rare cases where the solenoid is going? If I do have a problem with my oil pressure, shouldn't I be getting the oil pressure light on my dash?

The solenoid itself or the oil filter can also cause this code to set.

My money is on the solenoid.....

Definitely thinking solenoid since I just put a new filter on. For only $33 for a whole new spool valve assembly really can't go wrong. Kinda wondering if I should have even spent money on an oil pressure gauge but guess it couldn't hurt to check.
